Matthew Gilpin is a Partner whose practice focuses on estate planning, probate, estate administration, guardianship, and probate litigation. He advises individuals, families, and high-net-worth clients on wealth preservation, asset protection, tax mitigation, and succession planning, while also assisting clients with straightforward estate planning needs. Matthew represents executors, administrators, trustees, beneficiaries, and other fiduciaries in both contested and uncontested probate matters and brings a practical, strategic approach to protecting his clients’ interests.

Matthew believes effective estate planning begins with understanding the people behind the plan. He takes the time to learn about each client’s family, circumstances, priorities, and long-term goals, and uses that understanding to develop an estate plan tailored to the family’s unique needs. His goal is to help clients protect what they have built, provide for those they care about, and create a thoughtful plan for the future

Matthew earned his J.D. from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law (now Texas A&M University School of Law) in 2010 and was inducted into the Order of Barristers in recognition of his accomplishments in oral advocacy. He earned his B.F.A., cum laude, from Texas State University in 2003 and serves on the City of Keller’s Zoning Board of Adjustment.
