Ellen Williamson practices probate law, guardianship law, and estate planning.

After graduating from Texas A&M University with honors in 2001, Ellen earned her law degree from SMU Dedman School of Law. She spent much of her early career with the Small Business Administration Office of Disaster Assistance as liaison with federal law enforcement in the investigation and prosecution of disaster loan fraud. In 2013, Ellen started her solo practice with a focus on estate planning, probate, and guardianship matters, and brings that experience to the firm in her role as of counsel.

Ellen enjoys helping clients protect and honor the people they love as they address the death or incapacity of a loved one or plan ahead for their family’s future. Ellen understands that probate and guardianship needs arise during difficult seasons in her clients’ lives and takes pride in counseling them through the process with compassionate guidance and responsive service. She enjoys taking the time to truly understand her clients’ needs so she can identify and craft well-tailored solutions. She has also assisted with the creation and delivery of many continuing legal education programs for attorneys and enjoys speaking about estate planning and probate topics for senior groups and others.

Ellen lives in Irving with her husband and their children. In her free time, Ellen enjoys running, triathlons, cooking, and volunteer activities.
