Business Services
Trademark Attorney of Record
FGHW will assist you with trademark prosecution, from application to registration. Once a trademark has been registered with the United States Patent & Trademark Office, we offer our services as Attorney of Record to continuously monitor the progress of each mark and communicate with the USPTO on your behalf as needed. In addition to tracking each mark internally, we utilize a docketing service connected to the USPTO’s online database. This service provides us with regular updates on your marks, including renewal notifications and alerts in the event any of your marks are mentioned in third party USPTO office actions.
FGHW charges an annual flat fee of $250 per mark for the first three registered trademarks, with a reduced fee for any registered mark after that, for our ongoing attorney of record services, including the docketing and tracking of each mark. Please contact us for more information.
Corporate Transparency Act Compliance Services
The Corporate Transparency Act takes effect on January 1, 2024. This legislation is designed to prevent and combat money laundering, terrorist financing via shell companies, corruption, tax fraud, and other criminal activity. The legislation also created a new bureau under the U.S. Department of the Treasury, the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (“FinCEN”). FinCEN will create a non-public database of companies and beneficial owners of those companies which will be accessible only to those in government and law enforcement with appropriate clearance.
FinCEN will require businesses and individuals to submit certain reports beginning on January 1, 2024. Reporting violations can lead to civil penalties of up to $10,000 and/or fines and imprisonment for up to two years, or both.
Companies formed prior to January 1, 2024 have one year to submit the required information, while companies formed after that date will have only 30 days to prepare and submit the required information. Further, should that information change, an update must be submitted to FinCEN within 30 days.

Registered Agent Services
If you are a Texas entity or a foreign entity registered to do business in the State of Texas, the Texas Business Organizations Code requires your business to maintain a Registered Agent and office in Texas.
A Registered Agent is an agent of the entity on whom may be served any process, notice, or demand required or permitted by law to be served on the entity. The registered agent’s office must be a physical location and open during standard business hours. PO boxes are not permitted. FGHW can serve as your registered agent for an annual fee of $125.
